Comments
For trespass, the person must have voluntarily moved rather than being pushed/tripped/shot out of a canon. You don't need to know it was someone else's property or whose property it was. The fact that someone stepped onto the property is not actionable. Unlike in battery, where "offensive" contact counts even though harm didn't occur, in trespass there must be some kind of actual damage or harm occurring.
